The good stuff

What surprised me was how fast it actually worked. I filled out the form in under two minutes-basic info, ID upload, bank details-and got approved in less than ten. No awkward video call or credit check circus. The interface is clean enough, nothing flashy, but it gets the job done. And yeah, it’s free to download and use. That’s huge when most of these apps hide fees behind layers of jargon. Also, the app didn’t crash or freeze during the process, which is more than I can say for some other “instant loan” apps I’ve tried. If you just want a quick, low-hassle way to borrow money without signing up for a million services, this one does the trick.

The not-so-good

But here’s the catch-there’s not much else. No budgeting tools, no repayment tracker, no way to see your history beyond the current application. It’s literally just a loan funnel. If you’re someone who likes to keep tabs on your financial moves, this won’t cut it. And since the developer isn’t known, I was a little wary about data handling. No public privacy policy I could find, which is a red flag. Also, the version is 1.0.6, which suggests it’s still pretty early in its life. So while it works now, I wouldn’t bet on long-term updates or support. And if you’re not on Android 13+, you’re out of luck. Not everyone has that latest OS.

Bottom line

If you need fast cash, are okay with a barebones app, and don’t mind skipping the extras, FlyPeso for Android is worth a shot. It’s free, it works, and it doesn’t waste your time. But if you want anything beyond a one-time loan-like tracking debt or building credit-look elsewhere. For now, it’s a stopgap, not a full solution. Download it if you’re in a pinch and have Android 13+. Otherwise, maybe wait until it proves itself a bit more.
