And yeah, it asks for storage permissions just to save logs - that’s a bit much for such a simple app, especially since you could probably write to internal storage instead. Also, the “PREFERENCE NewLine Code (send)” option doesn’t apply to those @0x replacements, which is confusing. You’d think it would be consistent. But it’s still functional enough that you don’t care after a few uses.

Bottom line

If you’re working with Arduino, PIC, or any Bluetooth-enabled dev board and need a no-frills way to send commands from your phone, Terminal for Bluetooth APK for Android is a decent choice.
