The good stuff

The not-so-good

It’s definitely barebones. No timeline editing, no preview window, nothing fancy. If you’re used to Final Cut or DaVinci Resolve, this will feel like a step back. Also, the interface hasn’t changed in years - it’s all old-school Mac dialog boxes and plain text fields. It’s functional, but not pretty. And yeah, it’s a bit slow on older Macs. I had a MacBook Air from 2017, and it took a solid 7 minutes to process a 5-minute clip. Not terrible, but noticeable. Plus, the lack of user guides or tooltips means you kinda have to figure things out yourself. If you’re brand new to DCPs, you’ll need to do some reading elsewhere.
